Ledgers was founded on a simple observation: AI agents are becoming economic actors, and the payment infrastructure isn’t ready for them.

As AI systems evolve from answering questions to executing tasks — purchasing APIs, procuring cloud resources, settling invoices, buying goods — they need payment rails designed for autonomous operation.
